Around Camp Yavneh!

Below you will find details about the facilities and housing areas at Camp Yavneh that our campers rave about every year!

The way to any Jewish camper’s heart is through their stomach. At our Chadar Ochel (Dining Hall), we feed both the heart and soul of our campers with delicious, Kosher food and amazing singing and camp spirit.

Cool off after a day of sports at the Agam (Waterfront). It features a 75 foot dock with three separate swimming areas along with canoes, kayaks, sailboats, paddle boards fishing on a separate dock, the now famous water trampoline, and water mat all on a spring-fed pond.
There’s always action on the Migrash Sport (Sports Field). Two softball fields, two basketball courts, the only human foosball court in the Northeast, four tennis courts and much more.
The Beit Ha’am (Gym) is our largest space in camp and is used for everything from hockey to our annual Zimriyah songfest. It is fully equipped with an audiovisual system, ping pong room and a portable divider to create two smaller gyms.
White-HouseThe White House (no, not the one in Washington) is Yavneh’s little piece of history. Built pre-1800s and since then renovated many times, it is used as housing for our adult staff.
Weizmann, the camps dance studio, contains mirrors and a dance barre.
Our Omanut (Art) center has three separate rooms for general art, ceramics, and woodworking. Art projects have included silk painting, stained glass, jewelry design, stampmaking and much more.
Ben Tzvi (Auditorium) is our main performance and assembly hall. With a finished hardwood floor, state of the art stage lighting, and a modern audiovisual system, it is used for all-camp events such as movies, plays, and prayer services.
ampitheaterGilboa our Outdoor Amphitheater seats the entire camp in stadium style seating. Designed to fit into its natural surroundings, it is near and dear to the hearts of our campers and staff as we all come together here every Friday night for services. Gilboa is also used for performances.
For those seeking adventure, head over to Kir Tipus (Climbing Wall). Standing 40 feet tall, it has three different ways to climb and a 300 ft zip line along with complete safety equipment. While you’re here try out the low elements course as well. Great for team building!
Marp (Health Center) is the place to go if you are not feeling so well. Sit back and let one of the 3 camp nurses take good care of you.
Gan (Children’s Center) is where the smaller children (families of staff) are taken care of when they are at camp.
Sukkat Bogrim is a screened in Gazebo overlooking camp and is an outdoor area for smaller bunk activities.

White Sukkah is a common central meeting area at camp and doubles as an extra Ga Ga space.

Kolbo (Camp Store and Post Office) is the camp’s store, snack area with tables out side on the porch and the place to pick up camper mail.
